First visit to a wetherspoons pub for a few years. Stopped going because the service was awful and the food too. This however was a new experience of recent. We were greeted by pleasant staff. The service was good. The food was decent. There was a lovely polish waitress / barmaid who looked after me both nights I visited. Others were also around several spoke to me. 3 spoke to me as I was leaving. What a difference to most Wetherspoons pubs.

Didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the rooms. The food was lovely. It was very rowdy but I think this is because it was the Thursday before Xmas and there were a lot of work dos out drinking.

My girlfriend can't stop giggling since a waitress complimented her hair. Doesn't help that she spent the last evening while we ate dinner looking at her and telling me her outfit and corset looked amazing. (we have only been to the pub btw) 10/10 I will not come back so I can keep my gf. On a more serious note it's really nice to have good vegan options for such a low price, 3£ for a filling vegan breakfast is a steal, I'd come everyday if it existed where I lived. All the staff was nice, curry, burgers and breakfast were good, nice experience. No opinion on the hotel we haven't been.

Pints were perfect and service was swift and exactly what I needed from this watering hole when waiting for 5 hours for a sunday train. The foam in my glass hadnt even settled from my last sip when it was collected suddenly. It actually startled me from how attentive he was. Prices were competetive and didnt need to rush to a cash machine to pay the bill.

Clean nice rooms for the price. Good location. Unfortunately our room was above the entrance and on the street which was rather noisy late at night as well as early in the morning when the trucks were offloading their goods

Lovely hotel but the parking is terrible. We were parked outside during the hours given and still received a fine. Not the hotels fault bit we followed guidelines and were within the times given.

Really impressed with our room. Spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and great location. Really generous tea, coffee and biscuits left in room you rarely come across in other places. Would recommend.
